I'd Like To Thank...

I'd like to thank the academy, my parents (tear in eyes), my beautiful children who are the light of my life, and of course Country Boy, who dragged, talked me into, began this whole adventure...

No really, I received an award a few weeks back. It's called the Liebster Award and is given to blogs with under 200 followers who inspire others. And unlike other so called 'awards' it isn't really just a link through to some company trying to squeeze me for some free blog real estate. (I have lost count of how many of those 'awards' I have been offered - seriously does anyone fall for them???).

I got mine from Alicia at The Semi Rural Life. Another tree changer like me (only she is on the opposite on the country to me). At the same time I also received the same award from Gorgie Girl. Talk about making my head swell!

There are a few rules for accepting the award: 

• Copy and paste the award on your blog
• Link back to the blogger who gave you the award
• Pick your five favourite bloggers with under 200 followers who deserve to be recognised.
• Hope the five chosen bloggers will continue to spread the blog award love

So since I am a follower of the rules (albeit a bit late), here are 'emerging' blogs that I like to read!

Muddy Farmwife - Another farmers wife! Love reading other farm blogs, because they make me feel less isolated in my experiences!

Tiny Savages - I love the mix of humorous parenting observations, topical discussion, and fashion (which, frankly, is a little lost on me!)

Mixed Gems - The title says it all.

Life Of The Bees - Sass is a mum and foster mum. I love the way she writes honestly about the highs and lows of her life.
Our Little Sins - Kate writes about life with her small kids. I find her really easy to read!


I have been meaning to start linking some other blogs that I enjoy reading - what better time to start!
